Why Herbs?
An herbal approach looks at the person holistically and which herbs address multiple systems within your body simultaneously. We also match the most appropriate herbs to each individual.
Get Help For:

Low Energy & Poor Brain Function
Fatigue and poor brain function can be caused by myriad issued. In general, supplements to boost energy and focus are temporary fixes, at best. We can help you address the underlying systems issues.
Frequent Illness & Poor Recovery
Poor immunity doesn't always mean your immune system is underperforming. Sometimes it means an overactive immune system. Or, your immune system may be over- and underactive at the same time. The correct herbs can bring balance to your immune system.
Feeling Overwhelmed
It's not just the amount of stress that affects your body. It's also about how your body handles that stress. Herbs can help your body respond to stress more appropriately, and help your nervous system recover from extended stressful periods.
Poor Sleep
Quality sleep is essential to good health. Whether your unable to fall asleep, stay asleep, or get the restorative rest you need, herbs can benefit you.
Digestive Problems
Diet is important but so is proper absorption. An herbal approach looks at a variety of factors to assess if you are getting the nutrients you need for optimum health.
Skin Issues
Skin issues are often the classic "normal response to an unhealthy environment" and not actually problems with the skin itself. We will help you bring balance back to the skin and other systems that are involved.
How It Works
Initial Visit - Plan about 60-90 minutes for a thorough review
Start recommendations on the same day!
$120. Depending on the complexity of your situation, this usually takes 60-90 minutes and includes a comprehensive review of your health and history. This also includes an individualized plan with recommendations for you. Most people either choose subsequent management with the web portal (see below) or a follow-up visit, depending on which is most appropriate for their situation.
Follow-up visits
Most follow-up visits are 30 minutes, billed in 15-minute increments at $30 each. Plan to meet with me about once a month as we get started. At some point, we may need to meet less and that’s why the follow-up visits are billed separately from the web portal.
Ongoing help via web portal
This is crucial to success for complex cases as it allows us to communicate frequently, often daily, as you’re getting started. You’re definitely going to have questions as the herbs start stimulating healing. About half my clients use the web portal.
About Larry
Larry spent over 20 years in the supplement industry in formulating, marketing, and manufacturing prior to coming to Evergreen. During that time, he developed dozens of products for humans and animals that are still sold in thousands of stores nationwide.
As an herbalist at Evergreen, he understands that many of the people he meets with have already failed to find answers with conventional medicine. Finding the best herbs for a given person and situation is very individualized. Larry takes a functional approach when working with clients, looking at the systems within the body that are causing issues and the constitution of the individual. He draws on his extensive research and experience using herbs for systemic inflammation and helping the body overcome stealth infections. In practice, he is inspired by the research and ideas of renowned herbalists, Stephen Buhner, Rosalee de la Forét, and Jim McDonald.
As with all the services at Evergreen, herbalism benefits from provider collaboration.
